During metal cutting and forming processes in metalworking, cooling lubricants produce emissions such as aerosols, oil mist, smoke and vapours.

The droplet separators from BG Filtration work with mechanical separation technology: fine oil and emulsion droplets are separated from the air flow using demister elements. The droplets collide with the filter surface, flow together to form larger droplets and are discharged downwards by gravity, where they are collected in a tray.
